Tempranillo 2011 Barrel Select

Tempranillo 2011 Barrel Select

Winemaker Notes

*Library Selection*

The fifteenth release of our flagship Tempranillo continues the tradition of quality and excellence expected from our Southern Oregon terroir. This wine was crafted for structure and ageability by careful selection of the finest barrels from our best lots. The deep color and compelling aromas allude to the intensity of flavors that follow. Rich blackberry, violets, mocha, spice box, smoke and well defined tannins unfold on the palate in velvety layers through the lengthy finish. This wine will continue to improve for eight to ten years and offer a long plateau of maturity. Pair with traditional Spanish Cochinillo Asado (roast suckling pig), for a memorable meal.
