Winemaker Notes

Limited production.

Tinta Amarela was planted at Abacela nine years ago and has stood out year after year for its intriguing flavor profile and high degree of ripeness. This motivated the planting of new vineyard blocks. As these blocks gain maturity we again took the opportunity to produce a dry red table wine from this variety. While fine in texture and tannins, the structure is supported by perfumed aromas of blueberries, nutmeg, mushroom and rose petal which leads into complex flavors of dried raspberries, citrus, and bergamot on the finish.
