Winemaker Notes

The beautiful color, fresh aromas, and elegant texture of this Rosé are the result of slowly fermenting only the free run juice of Grenache grapes that were intentionally farmed to make this style of wine.

This is a dry wine that entices with aromas of pink grapefruit, rose petal, and guava coupled with flavors of cherries and strawberries. The finish is crisp with notes of minerality. It pairs well with a variety of traditional tapas, grilled fish tacos with fruit salsa and is great chilled on a hot summer afternoon.

"Wine of the Week", Chuck Hill,
"The combination of varietally true fruit and luscious, complex aromas and flavors brought this wine to the top of the rankings in its flight of Northwest Rosé wines.  It is crafted from grapes grown at the winery’s estate Fault Line Vineyard near Roseburg, Oregon.  The beautiful light cherry pink hue invites a sniff, revealing spicy pear and cherry notes with hints of peppery spice.  The wine is crisp and dry on the palate with flavors of cherries and strawberries."

"Think pink - a bumper crop of rosé this year", Jon Bonné,
Yet again, Hilda and Earl Jones have nailed a pink effort from their southern Oregon property, one that does credit to their Spanish inspirations. Deeply hued and direct pressed, it surprises; for all the expected size, it bursts with fresh raspberry and apricot. A bigger rosé that's light on its feet."
