Winemaker's Tasting Notes
This vintage provided a long spring with perfect flowering, a summer free of heat spikes, and a lengthy dry fall. The result was beautifully ripe fruit, exquisite flavors and naturally balanced acidity.
As the ripe peach aromas lift, they mingle with pineapple, grapefruit, and pear. Rich flavors of dried apricot and lime are carried on a creamy texture through the lengthy finish.
This dry, elegant and concentrated Viognier will drink well for 2-4 years. We suggest pairing with a classic such as chicken cordon bleu.
