Winemaker's Tasting Notes
For the eighth version of our unique Vintner’s Blend we assembled and blended 12 separate varietals from five different vineyard sources to create a delightful wine that bursts with juicy, ripe red and blue fruits backed by vibrant acidity and well-rounded tannins carried on a smooth, even texture.
The goal in blending this wine is to offer a fine balance between drinkability and ageability. In other words, this wine is quite enjoyable now and will drink well in the near term of two to five years.
Vintner’s Blend has always been a playful red table wine with a multitude of pairing options and #8 is no exception. Enjoy it with a simple, delicious preparation of grilled flatbread topped with pancetta, sun dried tomatoes, herbed goat cheese, and basil oil.
