Winemaker's Tasting Notes
The 2005 Tempranillo Umpqua Cuvee is sourced from our estate Fault Line Vineyards and McCorquodale Vineyard in Southern Oregon’s Umpqua Valley.
We select wines from specific clones and soil types for their upfront, exuberant fruit aromas and flavors and conservative, soft tannin structure.
This is an elegant young Tempranillo that is immediately enjoyable upon release without additional bottle age and will improve in the near (two to three years) term with proper cellaring.
This wine is ideal with simple preparations like mild chorizo, roasted pepper, olive, and mahon cheese tapas.
