Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Abacela’s estate Fault Line Vineyards are the exclusive source for this captivating wine. Our characteristic mineral and anise-laden blackberry fruit leaps from the glass.
The round palate bursts with black fruit, plum, earth, tasteful oak and well integrated acidity. A full-bodied, broad and complex finish delivers warm spice, flint, and crushed fruit with sizable tannins and considerable intensity.
It will improve with either cellaring for the next five to eight years or aeration while young. Pair this with sausage and bacon stuffed goose breast roasted with fennel and rosemary or a sampling of bleu cheeses.
