Outstanding!, Wine Press Northwest
90 points, Wine Enthusiast
"Packed with blue and black fruits, flavors of smoked meat and fresh herb, it’s substantial but not overbearing. Give it some extra breathing time." - Paul Gregutt, The Spokesman-Review (May 2010) Full article
Winemaker Tasting Notes
This Syrah is sourced exclusively from our estate Fault Line Vineyards in southern Oregon’s Umpqua Valley. This wine bursts with blackberry and white pepper aromas.
The palate’s ripe cherry and candied black fruit overlies a rich and full-bodied frame that expands as the lengthy finish progresses. This wine will improve with proper storage for at least the next four to seven years.
An intriguing food pairing would entail smoked salmon croquets with chanterelle mushrooms and black truffle oil
