Winemaker Tasting Notes
Malbec has proven to be an ideal varietal match to Southern Oregon’s climate. The Cox’s Rock and Chaotic Ridge parcels of our estate vineyards continually provide fruit of uncommon depth and refinement.
We ferment whole berries, press gently, and age the wines in French oak casks. These techniques combine to preserve the delicate perfume aromatics and highlight the ripe, unctuous blue and black fruit.
This Malbec will improve over the next three to five years and pair wonderfully with grilled pork ribs marinated in chipotle-mushroom aioli.
