Winemaker's Tasting Notes
Ripe red and black fruit dominate the fruit driven nose with hints of toasty oak in the background. With aeration the bright fruit morphs into floral perfume, deep, brooding, purple fruit with chocolaty undertones and dried mint.
On the palate this wine delights with a soft velvety texture and integrated acidity that creates a great sense of balance. Drink now or over the next 3-5 years.
Food pairings may include traditional Italian fare, or herb crusted rotisserie chicken with a cranberry demi glaze.
